AZ Gays.com is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. AZ Gays.com collects information from our users at several different points on our website.
When you suggest a Web site for inclusion in the AZ Gays.com directory, you are asked for your name and email address. This information is used only to contact you regarding the Web site submission or feedback questions and comments.
Your personal information is kept by the site's owner and is not sold or shared. If for some reason you wish us to remove this information from our private contact list, please email mark@azgays.com. Providing this information is optional. If you wish to remain anonymous, simply enter anonymous@private.com as your email address and Joe Blow as your name when filling out the form.

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Once the user closes their browser, the cookie simply terminates. Currently the site uses cookies to keep track of who has voted in one of the monthly online polls. When you participate in a poll, a cookie is set with an expiration date of 365 days. This cookie keeps track of which survey you have taken by its ID number. This cookie is to prevent people from voting more than once on the some poll. The same cookie will track multiple polls. The file is normally named something like username@www.azgays.txt and is just under 200 bytes after you have voted on three polls. The file contains a date, our URL and poll ID numbers. It does not track how you voted, only if you voted.
Some of our business partners use cookies on our site (for example, advertisers and our email provider Bigmailbox.com). However, we have no access to or control over these cookies. Bigmailbox sets a cookie and asks multiple questions about you and your likes and dislikes. Presumably to better target advertising to you. AZ Gays.com has access to part of this information but does not use the information at this time. When you sign up for free email the following information is collected by Bigmailbox and provided to AZ Gays.com:

We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.
We will share aggregated demographic information with our partners and advertisers. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person.
We use an outside shipping company to ship orders, and a credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.
We partner with another party to provide specific services. When the user signs up for these services, we will share names, or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services.
