Q. How do I
list my site?
A. Summarized: Send website description, category and
site URL to mark @ azgays.com
After you've checked to see if your site qualifies,
be sure that you have a link to AZGays.com at your site, visit the linking
page for linking images and copy/paste HTML to make things
easy. Next, write a brief 3rd person account of your site.
It should contain any keywords that you might think people would search for.
The first line is the site name, followed by one or two sentences and the URL.
Here is an example:
XYZ Site
The XYZ site contains useful X's and lots of Y's and Z's. The site's mission is to promote the unity of X Y and Z's.
http://www.xyz.org/
Next, go back to http://www.azgays.com
and click through the categories until you find a page that you feel
your link would best fit. Note the full page address and then
email mark @ azgays.com with the
your description.
Q. Can anyone
get their site listed on AZ Gays.com ?
A. Any Web site that meets the
listing criteria:
- Website owner must be a resident of Arizona.
- Website owner must be gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender.
- Webmaster Mark approves of the content of the site.
Q. Are any
exceptions ever made to the listing criteria?
A. Maybe, what do you have in mind?
Q. Does
it cost anything to list my web page on AZ Gays.com ?
A. There is no fee for a basic
listing on AZ Gays.com.
Q. Do I
have to provide a reciprocal link-back to AZ Gays.com on my site?
A. No. But that sure would be
nice of you if you did, and it would make me happy too.
Q. Where
can I find information and images for a link-back?
A. Go to http://www.azgays.com/help/link
Q. May I list
a site that belongs to someone else?
A. Sure.
Q. My site
doesn't fit into any of these categories. Can you add a new
category?
A. Maybe. Find the page that most closely fits
your site and click the Add URL link. On the form there is a
place to fill in a new category suggestion.
Q. I submitted my site weeks ago, why isn't it listed yet?
A. I'm sorry, I've been busy. This is more of a hobby for
me, doesn't bring in much cash. I do it for fun while attending
school and working.
Q. I see my listing, but when I use the search tool on the front
page, it doesn't show up.
A. The search tool is only updated once per week. I think
I have it scheduled for Sundays. If it's been longer than two
weeks, please contact me with
your info and the word you're searching for.
